1.     Sleep on Soft Silk Pillow

One of these simple tricks for preventing sleep wrinkles is just to sleep on a soft silk pillow. In fact, even though a regular pillowcase can’t prevent sleep wrinkles as well as silk, it’s still helpful.

2.     Sleep With an Elevated Head

Sleeping with an elevated head may help prevent sleep wrinkles on the face, which can be caused by gravity pulling facial muscles into an unnatural position while you sleep.

Elevate your head on a pillow while sleeping since it may help relax some of your facial muscles, preventing them from working too hard throughout the night.

Although it might not always be convenient or possible, if a good night’s rest is important to your health and well-being, it’s worth considering.

If there are times when elevated pillows just won’t do (for example, traveling), using a face mask can help keep air circulating around your face.

3.     Use a Nighttime Mask

Even if you only have time for a 5-minute mask at night, it’s better than nothing. In addition, sleeping in an airtight pillowcase can also minimize damage from moisture loss overnight, keeping your skin looking fresh in-between facials and daytime touchups.

4.     Sleep On Your Back

It’s important to sleep on your back. Sleeping in a position other than on your back can contribute to sleep wrinkles, and neck pain, and even make existing aches worse.

This is because it tends to relax muscles in certain areas while tightening them in others, causing misalignment.

And since relaxation is when our body produces more collagen (which fights wrinkle-causing creases), which occurs during deep sleep, any changes that keep us from falling into deep sleep phases can also hinder wrinkle-fighting repair efforts.

5.     Get Enough Sleep

Not getting enough sleep can have a huge impact on your appearance, making wrinkles seem deeper and more prominent.

Studies show that skin cells replicate during sleep. The longer your body is at rest, therefore, the better chance you give your skin cells to grow healthy and fight off aging signs like wrinkles.

You should aim for around 8 hours of sleep every night in order to stay healthy—and look it too!

It’s essential we take good care of our skin; not just when we are younger but every day. There are many ways to do so.

You can start by using a facial moisturizer daily. This will make your skin look fresh and young for longer than if you don’t use one.

If you have dry or sensitive skin, try using an oil-free product instead of one with oil as its base ingredient.

You can also use serums under your moisturizer for added benefits like anti-aging properties or brightening effects.

Always apply products after cleansing and toning, which removes any dirt or impurities from pores before they clog up again during sleep time.


10.    Topical Vitamin C

Vitamin C can drastically reduce fine lines and wrinkles, which make your skin, appear significantly younger.

I recommend looking for products with lower percentages of active ingredients (like 10% instead of 30%) so you don’t irritate your skin too much. These treatments should be used about once every two weeks for best results.

15.    Wash Your Face Before Bed

Before heading to bed, it’s a good idea to wash your face and remove any makeup. Over-the-counter beauty serums can also be used to reduce wrinkles and prevent sagging.

17.     Enjoy Deep Breathing Early In the Morning

Deep breathing helps relax your body by promoting healthy blood flow and stimulating circulation.

It also alleviates feelings of stress and depression, which are sometimes associated with sleep wrinkles.

Try these techniques every morning before your day begins. You’ll be amazed at how good you’ll feel after just a few minutes of deep breathing!

The most relaxing type of deep breathing is diaphragmatic breathing (also known as belly or abdominal breathing).

This kind of breathing emphasizes the expansion and contraction of your diaphragm, as opposed to chest breathing, which mainly involves your chest expanding and contracting.

By practicing deep belly breaths every morning when you wake up, soon enough it’ll become second nature throughout each day.

18.    Face Yoga

Try some simple face yoga techniques when you go to bed at night. You can make some quick changes by relaxing your facial muscles and making small movements with your head.

This will not only help relax your face but also improve blood flow and nourish skin cells, which is essential for getting rid of sleep wrinkles.

Before going to bed at night take 15 minutes doing simple eye movements like closing each eye in turn for one minute, rolling your eyes in circles clockwise then counter-clockwise for one minute each; look left and then right for two minutes; smile until you start laughing then change it serious facial expression.

19.   Don’t Eat Late At Night

No doubt about it, we’re creatures of habit. You get used to eating dinner at 8 p.m., then soon enough that becomes your regular time for eating—no matter what day of the week it is.

And when you don’t eat at regular times each day, things like skin breakouts begin to occur. Eating late (or later than usual) sends a signal to your body that it’s not time for bedtime.

In addition, lots of foods high in sugar can cause your blood sugar levels to rise quickly, causing fatigue and disrupting sleep even more.

If you want healthy skin, skip dessert after dinner and eat at a regular time so you can stop wondering how to prevent sleep wrinkles on your face with diet changes alone.

20.  Take the Right Supplements

A healthy, well-balanced diet is essential for preventing sleep wrinkles on your face. But as we age, our bodies may not always be able to get all of the vitamins and minerals it needs from food alone.
